This is a PDF instant digital download. After payment, you will receive an email with a link for a printable file. The printable sheets make up a set of 24 x Decorative Antique Books (in 1:12 scale)
This download has 2 pages in total, consisting of 24 x Decorative Book Covers
These antique book covers are lavish, mysterious and dark themed.
The books depict ancient Medieval codex manuscripts which were bigger than the books we know today. The covers are in correct 1:12 scale and measure 36mm(h) x 28mm(w)
For a free DIY video tutorial showing the step-by-step bookmaking process for these printables, please see my YouTube channel https://youtu.be/JyVqutHAgH8
To create quality double-sided pages with good alignment, I recommend printing my printables on the following paper:
Book Covers – white cardstock paper (65lb/176gsm) – https://amzn.to/33j2fc9
If you feel that the book covers print too dark for your needs, adjust your printer settings (brightness and contrast).
I offer FREE end papers that can be used in conjunction with the book covers.

Great little covers, they are bigger than I needed but even cut in half look really nice (I’m sure I could shrink them down but I’m not tech savvy). The details are very good and the colours are vibrant, they make the other books covers that came in the set with my diy book nook kit look dull! The next mini library project I make will be stocked with only Lady Maniac book covers.

Thank you so much, Shannon! Such kind words… I’m so happy to hear that you’re happy with them!
If you want to reduce them to 1:24 scale, I’ve suggested the following to customers and it’s worked well for them:
1. I use Adobe Acrobat Reader as my default PDF viewer… I have more options to change size and other printing preferences. My other Viewer did not!
2. When in ‘Print’ file, choose Custom Scale 50%
3. Click on ‘Pages’… choose Page 1 only
4. Make sure the paper is snug against the top / bottom of the tray. Print the first page (Page 1). Take that printed page and turn it over in the printer tray so as to face correctly (determine the way your printer needs to draw and roll paper through. First practice with a blank piece of paper and mark it to track the direction). Make sure the paper is snug against the top/bottom of the tray again. Then print page 2 on the back of the first page. You’ll have the back to back printing as you did in 1:12 scale!
I hope this can work for you too…! Enjoy
